Information you provide
Driply stores your nickname, weight, age, personalization choice, daily schedule, hydration goal, bottle size, activity choices, drink history and app preferences.
How it is used
This information is used only to calculate your hydration plan, update Today and Insights, unlock achievements, create recaps, power widgets and schedule reminders.
Local storage and analytics
Your profile and hydration history are stored on your device, not on a Driply server. No Driply account is required. Insights and achievements are calculated locally. Driply does not sell your personal data, display ads, include third-party analytics or track you across apps.
Purchases and Apple
On iOS, Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, payments and refunds under its own privacy policy. Driply uses StoreKit to load products and localized prices, verify transactions, check subscription status and restore purchases. These store services may require internet access. Driply receives purchase and entitlement information, not your payment-card details. Your hydration profile and drink history are not sent to Apple by Driply for purchases.
Device permissions
Notification permission is used for local hydration reminders. Live Activities are optional and independent of reminders. Photo-library permission is requested when you choose to save a recap image. Driply does not upload or scan your photo library. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
Widgets and Lock Screen
Driply shares hydration totals, goals, reminder information and quick-add actions locally with its own widget extension. Widgets, notifications and Live Activities can display hydration information on the Home Screen, Lock Screen or Dynamic Island, where other people may see it. You control these surfaces in Driply and your device settings.
Language and region
The initial language uses only the country in your device’s local region settings: Italy selects Italian; other or unavailable regions select English. Your chosen language is stored locally and overrides that default. Driply does not use GPS, IP location, VPN detection or an online location service.
Your controls and retention
You can edit your profile and preferences, export your records or reset hydration history in Settings. Delete all data removes the profile and hydration database and resets the hydration plan; language, tour and offer preferences may remain locally. It does not cancel an Apple subscription, remove Apple’s purchase records or delete previously exported files, shared images or backups. Manage subscriptions through Apple and remove those copies separately. Verified purchases can be restored.
TestFlight and device diagnostics
TestFlight automatically collects crash reports and usage information and shares them with the developer. Feedback you submit is also shared, and invitation details may include your name and email address. Apple handles this under its own privacy terms. Outside TestFlight, diagnostic sharing depends on your device settings. This is separate from Driply’s locally calculated hydration Insights.
Health and children
Driply provides general wellness estimates, not medical advice. It is not intended for children under 13. Anyone with a medical condition or fluid restriction should follow professional medical guidance.
Policy updates
This policy describes the current app. If Driply changes how it handles information, this in-app policy will be updated to explain the changes.
